Parents got a digital SLR camera for Christmas and Mom and I went to Lake Morton to play with it yesterday. We found some winter visitors who grudgingly posed for us.

"Digital SLR." Familiar words to someone who hangs out with photographers but who always feels like he's on the outside looking in since he can't utter them himself. Let me know what it's like as a member of the inner circle. :-)
Nice picture too.
It's a lot like a digital point-shoot when you don't know what all the extra fancy buttons mean or how to use them...
